You have got to be FREAKING KIDDING ME!

 Just a heads up this is a rant post about my job! We are all pissed!

So I work for a town of about 600-700 people on a lake. Well, the clerk treasurer that was here when I was hired, was not going to run for re-election unless no one ran for the C/T job. The board was pretty adamite about jumping on getting a replacement for her. Let me tell you...I hope they are kicking themselves in the teeth right now!

So, we found out there was someone running for the C/T job. We all had our theories as to why she was running. My current C/T  had tried to get the one that was running into the office for training since we found out she was on the ballot. This C/T job is not all roses and unicorns. She works her ass off! She is here sometime to 5:30 or later. She does more than most C/T's have or need to do. That is why we love her. She goes above and beyond and she stands up for the employees! 

Anyways, so she had been trying to get the new C/T in for months. Finally she gets her to agree, all of a sudden she gets covid...again. Second, time within like 2 months. Amazing! Then she finally comes in and she was suppose to be here at like 8:30am because they had a company come in to train her on our system. The training lady was going to be here at 9am. Here she comes strolling in at 8:50am. Then they are paying this lady triple digits an hour and she has to leave to go home and let her dogs out. Said she will be back in 20 minutes. 45...45 minutes later here she comes. She smells like she had smoked a whole pack within those 45 minutes. It was gross!

On a side note, she smokes and drinks like a fish!

Moving on. So that whole week she was there maybe 17 hours. Now mind you the NEW C/T gets paid the last two weeks of the year, not the current one that was in office. So my current C/T is working for free, trying to help the new C/T learn all this necessary shit to keep the town running smoothly. 

So on to this past week. Monday rolls around. Current C/T is in at 9:20. She told the new C/T to be here at 9am because they had minutes to do. They had to get around for the council meeting that is next week. So 9:30 rolls around, the new C/T is not here. 10am rolls around. Nothing. 10:30 rolls around. Absolutely nothing. Oh I think it was about 10:45/11 and the town council president contacts her and tells her that he received a voicemail and she is sick and not coming in today. 

Now let me tell you, the current C/T does not get upset, she is calm, always happy and just all around a wonderful person! I think I saw red! LOL.

So Tuesday comes around. We are all waiting for her to come in. I was going to text the C/T that was training her when she came in. Nothing. She never came in. I don't what time it was but all of a sudden we get the she just resigned text message! I was like WHAT THE FUCK!? 

I'll be honest. I didn't think she would make it, but I thought she would at least make it through the month of training.

Anways, fast forward. The C/T that was training (the one that was here when I was hired in) came in last week and got things around for the council meeting that is tonight. Doing other things, trying to make the town run, while we wait to hear who was being appointed.

Well, guess what?! Fast forward a week and no one. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has been appointed to the C/T job! AND To top it off...guess what?! It is payroll week! So, if payroll was not turned in today (Tuesday) so we can be paid on our normal days (Thursday), we will not get a paycheck. So yippeeee....no paycheck. 

You wanna know pissed! This gal is pissed along with everyone else in this office. It's ridiculous!

YES there is wayyyy more to this story and the reasonings we think that no one has been appointed but there is not enough time in a day to write that all out!

On a sidenote: My C/T said that she would come back if appointed. She has no problem with that. She has ran this town the last 4 years and it has ran so smoothly, minus two council members that have personal agendas, but overall, everything else is smooth. She is great. She is personable. She knows her shit!

Take that in people. How pissed off would you be if you knew you were not getting paid on payday!?

Rant....SORRY

 So let me start by saying I absolutely love my three children, more than my own life. I love them more than anything on this earth, but oh my goodness......they drive me bat shit crazy somedays!

The princess is potty-training, well I should say she is potty-trained! She has done soo awesome and she caught on so quick! Way quicker than we thought, but having Red potty-training over the last year or so and her watching and learning, we thought she would catch on quick, just not this quick. 

Anywho...she has done awesome. Accident once in a while which is expected, but now she thinks she can dump her own piss and shit. She doesn't always potty on the big one, she has a small potty that she uses, so she thinks she can dump it herself and flush it. Which is great, but I have this fear she is going to miss and yup, you guessed it, end up with pee, wet toilet paper and even poop on my floor, toilet, etc. You mom and dad's know what I am talking about. No one in their right mind wants to clean that up. I hate HATE cleaning bathrooms. It is one room, I clean, but makes me want to gag as I clean it.😂

Both Red and the Princess are close in age. Less than 2 years apart, let me tell you....DON'T DO IT! LOL. Once again, I love my children, but they fight like cats and dogs sometimes! Other times they are sweet as angels and I am like YES...I love it! Then as soon as I say it, I kick myself because they are fighting. The Princess is mean. Just plain mean to Red. She is the same size and almost the same weight as Red, but she is a girl and uses those claws to scratch him or push him. We always tell him he cannot hit girls. That was something that was always said in our house to our little brother. He learned really quick that he could not hit his two older sisters or his butt got whooped or sat in a chair. He learned real quick. Red has learned pretty quick too. Once in a while when she walks up and just hits red for no reason or throws a toy at him, I do let him smack her back. I know, I know, terrible mother, but she does it more often then none. So I whoop her ass and put her in timeout afterwards. She cries. We talk. She does it again like 20 minutes later and I whoop her again and put her in timeout again for longer. That bullshit that she sits in timeout for the number of minutes of how old she is, is that...bullshit. There were days where they have sat there for 10 minutes because they were not getting in through their little stubborn minds that you cannot continue to do what you do and not have a longer consequence. 

Yes....I do spank my children. That is nothing. I know dad's that use their belt or a wooden paddle with a hole in it...OUCH! And you now what....good for them! Once in a while I threaten them with my wooden spoon with a hole in them and smack it on my hand and that usually straightens them up....at least for a bit. 

I don't want my kids to be shitheads when they grow up. They need to learn right from wrong and know that they cannot be bullies or shitheads and get away with it. There are too many children who are shitheads nowadays because the parent(s) won't discipline them. They would rather be their friends. 

FUCK THAT! 

Discipline those kids. 

Smack their asses. 

Put them in timeout.

Send them to their room.

Take the electronics away.

We have learned with our oldest that grounding them does nothing other than punish everyone else. When you ground them, they cannot go anywhere, which in return means you are not going anywhere. That accomplishes nothing. Absolutely nothing. Other than putting everyone in a shitty ass mood and mad at everyone because no one can do anything other than be at home. So skip the grounding people. Whoop their butts and whoop them hard! 

Ever heard the saying I will knock you out into tomorrow or I will spank you so hard you won't be able to sit down for a week? That mentality needs to come back into this world! Maybe there wouldn't be so many problems in the world if parents were less of their children's friends and more of their discipliner! Who knows, maybe not, but I truly believe children do not get disciplined like they should nowadays!

COME ON PARENTS....don't be scared! Discipline your children! I bet a majority of you were spanked as a child!?

Wow....I got off topic there....sorry.

Anyways...my children awesome kids, just have some problems, I mean the Princess is in her terrible twos going into her trying three's and Red is in his fucking fours going into the fucking five's! M is 12 going on 13 and lord help us with the teenage years! I am hoping they are not as bad as people talk about! He has also been mellowing out a little more lately, that I have noticed. He is still goofy and a dork a lot of the time, which I love, hubby just shakes his head and asks what is wrong with him and I just giggle at him. M is doing a lot better than he use to. I think he is starting to grow up a little bit. I have noticed he has good days and bad days, which everyone has, but he is great. He has offered to watch the younger two if we needed to run uptown real quick to the store, he has helped around the house a little more. Not a lot, but a little, and you know what I will take it. I still believe they should have chores, but I also believe they should be allowed to still be kids. We push kids to grow up so fast it's crazy!

Well what did everyone do for New Years? Any exciting parties?

Me...we had Christmas at my parents house and we ended up leaving early.  I was not feeling very good. So we left early and i was in bed by 7pm slept til 9am and went back down for a nap from 1pm to 5pm. Lol.

I feel better today but not 100 percent.  On a good note i am down 7 pounds!! Woot woot
