So, we have officially picked a date for the princess' birthday! wahoo! Now to get to planning. Luckily I have a great best friend that is awesome at ideas and always willing to help the not so much like to plan parties. I like to plan shit, just not birthday parties for some reason. I think it gets overwhelming at times, so I just kinda am like fuck it. I am over it. But like I said, I am lucky to have a great friend that is great at this shit and is also great at kicking me in the ass. Whether or not I listen and take that ass kicking is the real question! She would probably say no! LOL.
For the princess' birthday the theme is.....ready for this.....Princess theme (Pinks and gold)
Lots of things to do.....so, I am starting a list and most of them I am going to try to do on my own along with everything else going on! LOL. Why not? I like the pressure and stress. LMFAO!
So here is my list everyone.....
*Invitations
*Decorations
*Smash Cake
*Cupcakes
*High Chair Garland
*Plates, silverware, cups
*Pictures
*Milestone Board
*Food
*Pearl necklace (smash cake photos)
*Shirts for me, dad and brothers
That's all I can think of off the top of my head!
Onto another subject...
We got our garden plowed back up for our veggie garden. It needs to be gone over a couple more times. Our goal is to get our potatoes in this Friday. Rule of thumb....potatoes in on good Friday at the latest. Last year we got them in real late and we didn't get as many and they were not very big, so we are ahead of the game already by getting the garden mixed up already!
Along with potatoes, we are doing, tomatoes, jalapenos, green, red, yellow and orange peppers, zucchini, pickling cucumbers, snow peas, green beans and we are not sure what else. I know we are not doing as many vine plants as we did last year. Last year we did watermelon, squash, cantaloupe and something else, but I cannot remember what it was. So I am excited to get the garden in! Love fresh veggies!
