General News

So, we have officially picked a date for the princess' birthday! wahoo! Now to get to planning. Luckily I have a great best friend that is awesome at ideas and always willing to help the not so much like to plan parties. I like to plan shit, just not birthday parties for some reason. I think it gets overwhelming at times, so I just kinda am like fuck it. I am over it. But like I said, I am lucky to have a great friend that is great at this shit and is also great at kicking me in the ass. Whether or not I listen and take that ass kicking is the real question!  She would probably say no! LOL.

For the princess' birthday the theme is.....ready for this.....Princess theme (Pinks and gold)

Lots of things to do.....so, I am starting a list and most of them I am going to try to do on my own along with everything else going on! LOL. Why not? I like the pressure and stress. LMFAO!

So here is my list everyone.....

*Invitations

*Decorations

*Smash Cake

*Cupcakes

*High Chair Garland

*Plates, silverware, cups

*Pictures

*Milestone Board

*Food

*Pearl necklace (smash cake photos)

*Shirts for me, dad and brothers

That's all I can think of off the top of my head!

Onto another subject...

We got our garden plowed back up for our veggie garden. It needs to be gone over a couple more times. Our goal is to get our potatoes in this Friday. Rule of thumb....potatoes in on good Friday at the latest. Last year we got them in real late and we didn't get as many and they were not very big, so we are ahead of the game already by getting the garden mixed up already!

Along with potatoes, we are doing, tomatoes, jalapenos, green, red, yellow and orange peppers, zucchini, pickling cucumbers, snow peas, green beans and we are not sure what else. I know we are not doing as many vine plants as we did last year. Last year we did watermelon, squash, cantaloupe and something else, but I cannot remember what it was. So I am excited to get the garden in! Love fresh veggies!

NCAA Tourney Time - Wahoooo!!!!!

Today is the start of the men's NCAA Tournament! I don't know about you all, but I am super stoked! I LOVE, I mean LOVE tournament time!

I have 4 online brackets done and 2 on paper both with my oldest son! It is my favorite tournament of the year! I love it more than the world series and definitely more than the soccer playoffs. LOL.

So, games start at noon today....it is on! I am so excited! Basketball from noon til I go to bed! Can't beat that! two youngest kids are at daycare, oldest is at school, hubby is out doing lawns, I am ready for basketball!!

Keto

So I am sure many of you, if not all of you, have heard of Keto and even lazy keto. LOL.

Well, I started keto Monday and so far I am happy. I kind of did my own way. I have cut out most carbs. I still may have a little bit of carbs with one meal, but I am really trying to cut them out. I have also cut out pop/soda, minus if it's in my alcohol drinks. I will not skimp on pop if it is needed in my drink, such as a jack and coke or jack and cherry pepsi, which is what I drink.

I have felt great since I started doing it, even with it being only a couple of days. I also started walking/light job for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how I feel, BUT no less than 20 minutes.

I am also eating every 2 hours. No less than every 2 and a half hours.

I also have started trying not to eat after 7, but it's more like 730pm, which I am fine with since I don't go to bed until 11. I am also drinking a crapton of water and if you don't know what a crapton of water is, it is...you feel like your eyeballs are floating because all you do is drink water. lol.

So I guess I am doing somewhat of a lazy keto. But I make sure I eat something when I get up. This morning I ate 4 pieces of salami before taking my oldest to school. Came home, got the other kids and the hubby out the door, showered, ate some eggs with veggies, cheese and some sour cream topped with hot sauce.

Lunch I had the same thing, but I threw in some steak and mushrooms and it was delicious.

Overall, I am feeling great. I stepped on the scale Monday morning and my goal is to only step on the scale on Monday mornings, so I do not get discouraged if I am not losing weight day to day. My overall goal is 2 to 3 lbs a week for a couple weeks then if I go to 1 to 2 lbs a week I will be happy with that.

My biggest personal dilemma is staying positive through this and not getting discouraged, which is why I am only stepping on the scale once a week!

MEN😠😠😠

Alright I will warn you right now. This is a bitch about men post!

Let me tell you ladies and gentlemen, anytime a man tells you that you could not live without them, especially when it comes to sex...call BULLSHIT, at the top of your lungs! When my husband spouts off at the mouth, that I couldn't live without him, especially when it comes to sex, I tell him you wanna bet and then I proceed to tell him.....
That's why there are sex toy stores, such as the lion's den, and they have all kinds of toys that can satisfy me just the same way you do, minus the bullshit and headaches! Yes, it may not be the real thing, but shit, the way things are nowadays, they are pretty damn close and they won't spout off at the mouth, plus there is less of a mess with toys! LOL
That's right ladies and gentlemen I said it, dildo's, pocket pussies (for the gentlemen), lube etc...are available at sex toy shops and let me tell you....They are worth every penny to not deal with men somedays!
My husband laughs and says well I guess you are right! lol. that I am love, that I am!
NEVER tell your wife or husband that they cannot live without you when it comes to sex, money, etc. because it's HORSESHIT! Any woman or man can live without one another. Trust me I have done it and know many other people that can live without the opposite or same sex in their lives and they are doing just fine with and without kids too may I add! (Yes I was a divorcee with a child and have remarried and now have 3 kids, two with my new hubby and one with my ex, who I may say we are all on good terms with one another, but that is for another day)
There are days men suck, but than again so do us women! Whether you are straight, bi, gay, etc., there is something for everyone at the sex toy shop and shit some of it may be better than what you are handling now!🀣🀣🀣

It's A Monday

Well, what can I say, it's a Monday....lol. I have no subbing job today, which is nice and not nice at the same time. I love subbing, but I do love my days at home getting things done. Laundry is about done. Sheets, blankets, all the clothes! I usually keep up with the laundry, but there are days, where I do not want to see a piece of laundry, let alone wash and worse of all fold a piece of laundry. πŸ˜‚

So, we took the kids to daycare, got out with no problems I must say! No screaming two year old which is always a plus. He is liking it more and more each day. We still have our good days and bad days as expected with any kid. Ran to town with the hubby so he could look at tools *eyes roll multiple times* LOL. His dad texted and their new tractor for the farm showed up today, so we had to get home and he was back out the door after putting on his long johns. lol

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, it was pushing 60, if not 60, so after naps, kids and hubby, we went to the farm to walk and the little red head loved it. It was muddy and mud puddles everywhere, with some snow left, so of course, the first thing that kid does is go jump in the mud with his snow boots and one snow boot did not come with his foot when pulled out of the mud. LOL. So, foot with his sock into the mud and back into his boot! πŸ˜‚ Never a dull moment with that one! But we had fun, sis enjoyed the backpack ride that her Uncle carried her in, my little red headed devil child and his two cousins had a blast jumping in the mud puddles.

It was a great day and then today.....28 degrees with some good winds.

I feel soooo old!

I am definitely feeling old this week! My oldest started his sophomore year of high school this week! Yes, he is a giant! He is ...
