Habits

Lets just be honest we all have some great habits, some habits that are terrible that we cannot break and some new habits we want to take on but struggle with keeping. They say if you do a habit for 21 days it will just become routine. Let me tell you....I never, NEVER can make it 21 days with a new habit. For some reason I struggle. I don't know why. Maybe it's ambition, laziness or just not caring after a few days.

Well, I found this app called. Habit Now (Habit Now App) ←←← That's your link!

This app, let me explain, only started this about a week ago. There are different ways to add your habits in. For example, mine is water. I can pick the feature that lets me keep track of the water. So I drink 40 ounces. I type in 40. Then I drink another 12. So I hit add 12 and it keeps track. Where as I have another habit that says read/crosswords for at least 20 minutes (It's shorter than that), then I can just click it and it shows it's done.

So, what I did is I started and I added 6 habits. Some are easy, most are easy, but I struggle with my water intake (I get bored with it!) So, I took 6 habits.

My habits are:

1. Brush Teeth - Morning (No I don't struggle with brushing my teeth I just needed something easy to keep things going and make me get in the app everyday)

2. Brush Teeth - Night

3. Read/Crosswords - 20 mins. (This one is easy too, because I love to read and I love to do crosswords. Once again just trying to get in some easy habits that are easy to stick with and get things going)

4. No eating after 7pm (Believe it or not this one is hard for us. We are always outside, at the lake, in the garden, etc. until who knows when then we eat at like 9 or 10 at night. Then I stay up until 1 or 2 because I just feel like shit. So, this habit is a struggle for us and I have missed it 2 out of 10 days. But I can tell already when I eat after 7 because I just feel blah.)

5. Water - I have this set at 60oz. I struggle with water in-take. I'll be honest. So I am starting with 60oz. I always get at least 40 ounces in with my massive Stanley (40 oz. Stanley) cup. I always, always drink one of those, but that last 20 ounces I struggle with.

6. Vibration Plate - 20 mins. - I love this thing. I sit at a desk most of the day and I do get cramps the size of softballs in my calves. Always have since high school (I drank water all day every day in high school and still got them and always had bananas! Anyways this vibration plate (Vibration Plate) I like this thing (so does my husband. LOL) It shakes my entire body and I mean shakes, I put it on level 10 and it just shakes the shit out of me (not literally). But it suppose to help with multiple things (please go to link and read on it) I can say it helps my stress cause it makes me laugh when I first start and when my hubby and kids walk in and see me doing it and my whole body shaking, they start laughing and making comments. So, I think it helps the stress. I always do 30 minutes and the nice thing is I do it will watching TV so instead of sitting on my ass, I just stand on the vibration plate. The other day I did an hour because I just felt blah and it just shook the blah-ness out of me. LOL

So, those are the 6 habits I have started and I plan on adding one or two more after 21-28 days (3 to 4 weeks). Just slowing add a couple ever 3-4 weeks instead of overwhelming myself and adding like 15 to start with. I started small and will add small so it doesn't get overwhelming and I just say fuck it and quit!

What are your good habits?

What are your bad habits?

What habits do you want to add into your life?

School Shopping

Well, it's that time of year...again. I feel like the kids just got out of school!

The princess and the red head start school August 6th. Year August 6th. That's insane! They get just over 2 months off. I miss the days of school starting after labor day and getting out like June 8th or 9th. Now my two little ones start August 6th and they get out the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.

My oldest starts August 19th and gets out June 6th.

I also found out where my two little ones go to school, that the teachers voted against an extra week of summer! now let me explain.....where the princess and the red head go to school they get 10 days, I said 10 days, off for thanksgiving! I mean who needs 10 days for Thanksgiving? Anyways, if they would have voted to work that Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week they would have had another week of summer break!!!!! Like I am not following the logic here! I would rather have an extra week in the summer than have an extra 2 days of for Thanksgiving. I mean find me a class/teacher that actually does anything the week of thanksgiving? We always watched movies or had free days to catch up on work or play cards.

But, anyways....the princess and I went school shopping today. (I can't take both together because it would be a fucking nightmare!)

She didn't want to drive 45 minutes to an hour to the bigger city, so we just went 15/20 minutes away where we do our grocery shopping at anyways.

We hit Kohl's (jeans, undies and shoes), Walmart (all the school supplies, markers, scissors, composition notebook, dry erase markers, highlighters and we we also got some t-shirts and a couple pair of pants).

She picked out her own lunchpail at walmart and that girl loves her food. She got on that has ice packs built into it so you can shove the whole thing in the freezer. She also picked out like a bento box, but a cheaper version, and some little round dishes for yogurt. That girl new what she wanted for a lunchpail, even in kindergarten. LOL

then we went to Meijer because Wal-mart didn't have shit for backpacks. So she got a backpack. Guess how much!!!!!!!

It was suppose to be $24.99 and it rang up for $2.49. I said after we got out in the car and looked at the receipt better that we should run back in and get some more. But the girl was over it! Oh, she also got her headphones and Meijer and we were done after the headphones! She was excited. She told me when she was peeing that this was exhausting and she was over it! LMFAO!

So, needless to say, the princess is done with school shopping and she and I are both excited.

Next, is the red head.

Believe it or not, I would rather take my red head shopping over the princess! He is so easy going and I don't know, easier to take shopping for some reason! LOL

ER TV Show

Well, it will be a simple post again today. I officially finished the TV show ER. It took me a few months, but we use to watch it when I was younger and I never knew how it started or how it ended.

Let me tell you this show made me cry, laugh and be in awe by the things that happened.

331 total episodes! That is insane!

I loved this show! The last episode was great. Brought back some of the originals. Still upset about a couple deaths throughout the series, but there is always deaths that will upset you in every series.

So many actors and actresses. Some I loved and some I was like you need to go. lol

Now to figure out what is next

Suggestions?

NO MORE DAYCARE!!

NO MORE DAYCARE PAYMENTS......EVER!!!

That is it.

Garden

So, let me start by saying we have a vegetable garden. We doubled it last year and I am excited that we did but at the same time I'm going why did we do this?! I spent over 6 hours weeding this garden.  Yes.....6 hours! My rows of green beans, corn, snow peas, cucumbers and canning pickles all needed weeded....really bad...and I mean really bad!! Then around all our pepper plants (banana and jalapeno) and most of the tomato plants.
But man...it looks soooo much better!!
Hubby tilled last night so it looks beyond wonderful!!
I love our veggie garden but man it is sooo much work, but it's worth it!!
We make homemade pizza sauce, pickles, and jalapeno and banana pepper poppers!
Plus we get cherry tomatoes (red and yellow) for our salads! They are so sweet and yummy!

If you don't have a vegetable garden. Get one! I mean yea it's a lot of work, but it's so worth it!

Summer

Yes, it's summer.

Yes, it's crazy short.

Yes, it is humid as shit out lately.

Yes, we go out on the lake.

Yes, school starts in 21 days.

No, I am not ready for school to start!

The red head finished Kindergarten and is super excited to start 1st grade this upcoming year! The princess is excited to start Kindergarten. They are not excited about it starting in 3 weeks, which I cannot blame them. Their schools summer is soooo short compared to my oldest sons summer. They got out about 9 days later and they start 12 days later. BUT my little one's school has 10 days off for Thanksgiving, that's right I said 10 DAYS for Thanksgiving! That is just crazy. We and my oldest only ever had Wednesday through Sunday off. Not sure why they need 10 days for Thanksgiving. Oh and let me mention they get a fall break in October and a winter break AFTER Christmas! It just kills me. I would rather have more time with them in the summer!

Anyways, back to summer...my kids LOVE summer! Especially the princess and the red head. The oldest could care less. He is just..well...a teenager....and he's into video games and has a girlfriend. So lots of video games and talking to his girlfriend. Which is fine. He is only young once and he might as well enjoy it now because he's 15 already and only has a few more years of being a kid. Don't get me wrong he helps out when needed. He is watching the two little ones, one at a time, somedays throughout the summer to help out and give the grandparents a break. He takes out the trash, picks up his laundry, showers just about everyday, sometimes he likes to go without one and I get on his ass about it because you know....boys...teenager...stink!

Sorry, squirrel, the two little ones enjoy and love summer! They are all about going out on the boat, swimming in the lake, my parents pool, playing baseball, red head loves playing baseball and basketball. Red head has been helping out the hubby's dad around the lake and around the farm, trimming bushes, cleaning up, he is such a big help!

The princess is in her last week of daycare and she is excited about it because it means she's getting closer to going to Kindergarten!

I am so excited my kids love school and I hope it stays that way!

I am a little bias, but all three of my kids are very intelligent. The oldest just needs to apply himself and be more confident in himself!

Hubby loves summer as well. He mows and loves being outside.

Me....not so much. I am more of a I'll move somewhere cold in the summer and come back in the fall when it is cooler. I am not one that likes to sweat. I like to be cool. I can always put more clothes on but I can only take so many off and no one wants to see that LOL

Amazon Prime Days

Amazon Prime Days = Dangerous!! LOL

The Amazon prime days are awesome yet a curse at the same time! I usually do not have a problem ordering shit, whether it be laundry pods, kleenex, or even Christmas gifts...yes I said Christmas!!

What have you all bought on Amazon prime days? Are they wants, needs or a justified purchase? I like to think most of mine are needs with a couple wants in there because I worked hard on finding these deals.🤣🤣

What are some of your awesome deals that you have scored on Prime Days?!

I think that is it. I went through a list on the internet and found most I am sure there are more. but...I think that is enough.

What have you all watched?

I think I watch too much TV. LOL

My babies are growing!

My babies are growing up way to fast!!

My little princess who just turned 5, is going to be starting Kindergarten this year! My last baby will be in school! I'm so sad, yet so excited, because I will never have another daycare payment...EVER!!!!!! I mean how can one not be excited about that?!

My red head, who will be 7 this year, is starting 1st grade this year! He beyond excelled in Kindergarten last year. He was the first one to write to 100 and say his numbers to 100! His reading is outstanding and is working on reading GO DOG GO all by himself. He has one word that his stopping him from reading the whole thing without help, but man, I am so proud of this kid!

The oldest is going to be a freaking sophomore already! How is that even possible?! He struggled a little but second semester with his grades. He is staying with his dad and step-mom during the week during the school year and coming to our house on the weekends. It's an adjustment because we are so use to having him every other week for a longer period of time than just the weekends, but we do get him the whole summer which has been great because he is helping watching the red head and doing things around the house. He played soccer and baseball and he excelled in both!! He just needs to work on his self-confidence in both and in the classroom. He is a very smart kid when he applies himself.

I am still in awe I will have a sophomore in high school, a first grader and a Kindergartener this year! It is crazy how fast time has flown by!!!

Hugs those babies, snuggle those babies, play house, play a thousand games of UNO, color, eat with your kids at the table, take every hug you can possibly get from them! LOVE THOSE KIDS!!!

I feel soooo old!

I am definitely feeling old this week! My oldest started his sophomore year of high school this week! Yes, he is a giant! He is ...
