The Weekend....who doesn't love the weekend? I guess if you work weekends, than I get it, not a fan of the weekends.
Me...personally, I love the weekends, now that I am not having to work every Saturday from April through the end of October. You know how much you are missing out on, but you don't really know until you are no longer working them! I will say, I the people I work with at my old job, but I do not miss the 6 days a week from April through October. The paychecks were also nice, but I missed out on so much....not just the big things, like the oldest football games, soccer games, etc, but the smaller things. The spending the afternoon with the nephews and niece, the being able to run to the store when needed rather than after work, or making a last minute shopping trip and not having to worry about trying to get it off work or taking the day and going to Fort Wayne car shopping and spending the day with the hubby. On that note.....
I GOT A NEW CAR!! LOL. well, not a car, but a new van. We were leasing a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and we ended up going down to start at the Kia dealer and we ended up at the Toyota dealer and they bought out my lease! YAY! because I did not want to buy the Chrysler. My husband and father in law worked for a Chrysler factory and they closed their doors and shipped it to Mexico, so I refused to give Chrysler anymore of my money, plus...this deal was too good to give up.
So, I ended up with a 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid in white (we live on a dirt road). 3 days in and I am in love with it! It has a 12.5" screen, a moon roof, a larger storage area behind the third row seat. Yes, it is considered a van, but let me tell you the front, looks nothing like a fan. It is soooo comfy. Bucket seats, rubber floor mats. I love it.
I also get to start it, lock it and unlock right from my phone! It is sooo cool. (As you can tell, I am easily amused..LOL).
Back to the weekend....I am hoping to get my potatoes into the garden this weekend. They were suppose to be in by Good Friday, but that definitely was not going to happen!
